About the garden
Eyrignac, a 25-acre garden in the heart of the Dordogne, is renowned for its stunning topiary art and is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in the region. Listed as a Historic Monument, the estate is just a few miles from the charming town of Sarlat. At its centre stands a 17th-century manor, surrounded by meticulously crafted gardens where visual perspective and controlled planting create a breathtaking landscape. The garden features oriental box-trees, flowing fountains, water mirrors, formal lawns, and 300 handcrafted vegetal sculptures.
The estate also offers a variety of garden experiences, including the rustic and intimate Garden of Water Sources, the colorful Kitchen Garden, and the vibrant Florist Garden. The garden culminates in the serene White Garden, offering exceptional floral displays and a unique view of the stunning Dordogne scenery. Rich in 500 years of family history, Eyrignac et ses jardins remains privately owned and is open to visitors throughout the year.
