About the garden
The gardens at Teasses have been created and developed since the present owners came to the estate in the mid-1990s. Teasses is an extensive 60-acre garden encompassing a restored walled garden full of perennial colour, wall fruits and organically-grown produce. The gardens include woodlands incorporating gardens for children, a rose garden, an enclosed scent garden, a waterlily-filled pond and a terraced ravine garden.
A bird hide allows visitors to spot local fauna and the chance of a fleeting glance of the healthy population of Scotland’s red squirrel. The various gardens provide seasonal colour throughout the year. In early spring the flowering begins with carpets of snowdrops followed by tulips and narcissi, then banks of rhododendrons in early summer and beds and borders full or perennial colour and grasses before the garden closes with radiant autumnal tones.
