USA to UK |  Liz Ciskanik

Liz, the RHS Interchange Fellow for 2024/25, aims to deepen her horticultural expertise through experiences in English gardening culture. Alongside her passion for sustainable vegetable gardening, Liz plans to use this knowledge to promote community and well being through the world of public gardens and to make gardening more accessible in the United States. Her previous horticultural training at Winterthur and Longwood Gardens, along with her experience as an Assistant Horticulturist at Chanticleer, reflects her dedication to fostering community connections through gardening.

UK to USA |  Libby Bettney

Libby, the GCA Interchange Fellow for 2024/25, will be at Longwood Gardens, Pennsylvania, where she looks forward to learning from skilled horticulturists and enhancing her knowledge of both traditional and modern techniques. She is especially interested in Longwood's research and conservation work and keen to participate in Longwood’s grand displays as well as working in the new Conservatory. After earning a Law Degree, Libby pursued her passion for horticulture and completed the Historic & Botanic Training Programme before becoming the GCA Interchange Fellow.
