RHS Flourish Fund (2021 – 2022)

As part of its commitment to increasing equality and diversity in the horticultural sector, the RHS Flourish Fund distributed more than £300,000 over the course of two years to support a wider range of people into careers in horticulture. About 20 organisations throughout the UK received grants towards their horticultural training schemes that aimed at increasing access to the sector for underrepresented groups.

Future support 

Since 2023, RHS support for diversity in horticulture is being delivered through our New Shoots programme. While not a grant scheme, New Shoots aims to inspire the next generation of talent by giving people practical insights into the horticultural industry and a taste of working in a public garden.
