Our free exciting workshops offer hands-on sessions for children at Foundation Stage, and in Primary and Secondary schools (KS1-4) including those with special educational needs (SEND). Classes booking an educational workshop will also be allocated an indoor lunch space and use of the education toilets. How to book a school visit which includes a workshop

  • Contact us for a booking link by emailing [email protected]
  • Workshops are suitable for groups of 15–35 pupils*. If you are bringing more than 35 pupils, you will need to book two workshops
  • If you are a SEND group and have fewer than 15 pupils, bespoke workshops are available. Please contact us for a booking link
* Apart from SEND groups and Wellbeing Days.

  • Pupils may take part in one workshop only on the day of their visit
  • Workshops last for 90 minutes. If you are visiting for a full day, please arrange self-guided activities in the Garden for the rest of the day
  • Classes taking part in a workshop will also be allocated use of the lunchroom and education toilet

All pre-booked educational visits are free of charge. If you feel able to give a donation to the RHS to help support our educational work this would be much appreciated; we ask you to consider a donation of £3 per child for your visit.
