  • Best in Show awards are given to one Garden in each judged category
  • There are also Best Construction awards for the larger Garden categories
  • The Environmental Innovation Award was introduced in 2024 to recognise Show Gardens which have created low-carbon footprint designs through the use of reclaimed materials and sustainable practices

 

RHS Medals

With the exception of Feature Gardens, all Gardens at the Show are judged, as are the exhibits in the Great Pavilion. The available awards are:
 

  • Gold
  • Silver-gilt
  • Silver
  • Bronze

Great Pavilion Awards

Lara Thorpe won Florist of the Year in 2024

Florists can receive awards and medals based on which category they display in

  • RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year
  • Floristry Ambassador’s Choice
Other awards in the Great Pavilion are:
 
  • RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2024
  • Best Discovery Exhibit
  • Best Exhibit in the Great Pavilion
  • The President’s Choice Award
  • The New Design Award

RHS People’s Choice Award

After the official judging has taken place, Show visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favourite Gardens. Each garden has a QR code visitors can use to vote, or they can do so online, via the BBC website for the Show Gardens and RHS Website for the other categories. The eligible categories are:
 

  • BBC / RHS People’s Choice Award for the Best Show Garden
  • People’s Choice Best All About Plants Garden
  • People’s Choice Best Balcony and Container Garden
