A medium-sized bushy deciduous shrub, to 3m, with leaf colour varying at different seasons, yellow in spring, greenish in summer and orange-yellow in autumn. The bark is bright green and reddish-purple flowers in summer may be followed by red fruits

How to grow
Cultivation
Grow in a moist but well-drained soil. Water in summer if necessary. Leaf colour is best in partial shade, although full sun can be tolerated. Leaf scorch can be caused by lack of soil moisture or excessive exposure
