Cladostemon kirkii
A small deciduous, tropical tree, growing in hot, dry, often sandy soils in habitat, up to 6m high, bearing tri-foliate leaves in mid-green, which are covered in fine hairs on their underside. The white, sweetly scented, asymmetrical flowers, have pink veining and turn yellow with age. They are born at the tips of the branches and are followed by light brown gourd shaped fruit.
