Magnolia cylindrica
Huangshan magnolia
A spreading, deciduous tree to 12m in height with ovate mid-green leaves to 17cm long. White tulip shaped flowers appear in mid-spring on bare stems, and are fragrant. Cylinder shaped red fruits are freely born in autumn. The flowers are very resilient to frost.

Cultivation
