A bushy perennial, to 70cm tall, usually grown as an annual. Leaves have tapering tips and toothed margins. Most striking is the green and yellow leaf variegation; the outer margins green surrounding a bright yellow central band. Flowers, 3-5cm wide, in shades of salmon-pink appear in summer through into autumn
