palmate umbrella plant
A rhizomatous perennial which can reach 1.2m in flower. The leaves emerge in spring like a closed umbrella covered in silky hairs, then open out into a circular shape with deep, jagged divisions, reaching about 60cm tall and across. The small, tubular, pinky-white flowers are produced in clusters at the top of tall stems in late summer
