An evergreen, upright to spreading shrub or small tree, eventually reaching up to 5m tall. Needle-like, softly-hairy, finely-divided leaves are silvery-green and up to 0.4cm long. Small, red flowers, either solitary or in small groups, appear at the base of leaves sporadically throughout the year
