Evergreen tree about 25m tall, native to south-east Queensland, tablelands of NSW and upper Snowy Mountains of Victoria, with rough, greyish or white bark shed annually in ribbons, rounded bluish-grey, juvenile leaves to 11.5cm long and broad, pale slate grey to bluish-grey adult leaves to 15cm long. White flowers appear from early autumn to early winter followed by barrel to urn-shaped, woody fruit

Cultivation
