A creeping, rhizomatous perennial with hairy, mid-green, trifoliateleaves. Solitary rose-pink, lilac or white flowers 2.5cm across are produced on slender stems from spring to autumn. Reaches 20cm in height and will spread indefinitely, naturalising in shady, woodland conditions
