Lithocarpus edulis
An evergreen tree or spreading, bushy shrub eventually reaching up to 9m tall. Leathery leaves are tapered at both ends, narrowly oval to 15cm long and yellowish-green above with dullish green undersides. Spring flowers are borne on short, erect spikes to 7cm long and may be followed by acorns that take two seasons to reach their full size of up to 2.5cm long
