Join tutor Anastasia Demetriou for a study of a range of plants found in UK gardens and homes that can be used for natural skin care. In this workshop you will learn about a number of plants that can be used in natural skincare, and their place in folklore and history.
This includes: Calendula, a flower with a long history of being used to create natural skincare products; Equisetum, a plant many would consider a weed; and scented Roses, loved by many gardeners.

On this workshop you will:
  • See and learn to identify a range of plants that can be used for natural skin care growing at RHS Garden Bridgewater
  • Harvest and prepare some plants for use in natural skin care at home
  • Infuse flowers in oil infused to make a lip balm to take away
  • Make a natural nail strengthener with common plants from the garden
  • Prepare a facial spritz for a natural uplift every day.
You will leave this workshop with lots of tips and ideas on how to have a more natural skin care regime.
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the workshop. The workshop includes garden entry.

Tutor: Anastasia Demetriou, Horticultural Educator

Please note: On Saturday 21 September 2024 there will be a Walkies event in the garden, with dogs welcome at RHS Garden Bridgewater from 5pm. The Garden remains open until 7pm for this special event. Attendees to the workshop are welcome to stay for the whole day at the garden.
