In our electronic world, we might be forgiven for thinking that drawing no longer matters, however, the ability to sketch and think spatially is still essential to help the designer understand the garden spaces they have created and to communicate their thinking to their clients. In this two-day RHS Garden Wisley course, award winning garden designer Andrew Wilson will help you take your sketches to a new level.

On day one, Andrew will show you how to draw up garden plans by hand and how to sketch your planting designs.

Day two is dedicated to the understanding of perspective technique in both one-point and two-point format and to the rendering of perspective drawings to create lively, three-dimensional representation of two-dimensional design drawings.

Day 1: Thursday 13th February 2025
Day 2: Friday 14th February 2025

A list of suggested materials will be sent before the course. Some equipment will be on hand to borrow if needed.
