“We hope the Garden will inspire positive discussions, challenge misconceptions, and celebrate human beings who think differently. The Garden’s environment challenges preconceptions by drawing parallels between plant and human diversity. The palette of ‘super-power’ plants will reflect the diversity of humans, formed from a range of colours, forms, sizes and textures. Whether these plants are adapted by humans (e.g. topiary or bonsai) or naturally occurring (e.g. windswept or growing uniquely) the garden’s theme of encouraging visitors to ‘think differently’ and celebrate all neurodiverse people who positively contribute to society by applying their unique talents and perspectives to everyday life.”
