. Jo is Garden Advisor for RHS Garden Rosemoor and a member of the RHS Show Gardens Selection Panel, as well as an RHS Shows Judge.
Jo says:
“
RHS Chelsea Flower Show is an international platform for world-class garden design. I am honoured to be working with
The Glasshouse – a pioneering charity offering second chances through horticultural training to women in UK prisons – and embodying its message in The Glasshouse Garden at RHS Chelsea. The garden will have a transformational future as a permanent space dedicated to horticultural training and building self-belief, helping a new community of women to change outcomes and reduce re-offending.
“For years, I have been campaigning for everyone to have the right to access green space, so all the public gardens I create are really important to me. The
Cool Garden and the
Winter Garden at RHS Rosemoor, the garden at
Royal British Legion Industries are just some examples. I have seen the positive effect that gardens and gardening have on individuals, as well as the impact of people coming together in public spaces. There is so much more to be done.”
