A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes 6cm across, in clusters, the spoon-shaped, smoky grey-green leaves, are flushed vibrant red to burgundy from spring to summer. Tall stems of starry purplish-pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets
