Eucalyptus pauciflora subsp. niphophila from Mount Bogong, Australia

A slow-growing, dwarf form of this species eventually growing to around 8m (27ft) with smooth, cream to white bark with cinnamon and pink shades. The juvenile foliage is blue-green and ovate, while the adult foliage is sickle-shaped and blue green. Young growth and foliage is moderately aromatic when crushed. White, honey-scented flowers are produced in summer.

Cultivation

Grows best in full sun and a mildly acidic to neutral soil that is moist but well-drained. Able to withstand cold temperatures when mature, but shelter from cold, drying winds especially when young. See eucalyptus cultivation
