noble fir 'Aurea'
A golden cultivar of a Noble Fir with pyramidal crown and decorative, golden-green foliage. Needles are up to 3.5cm long, up-curved. The golden colour is most prominent on parts that are most exposed to sunlight, greener in the interior. This form is slower-growing compared to the species, reaching approximately 1 metre height after 10 year, later growing into a large tree. Annual growth rate is 10 - 15 cm per year.
