A deciduous large shrub or small tree, with a cascading, weeping habit and rounded, deeply cut, 9-11 lobed rich green leaves to 10cm long, brilliantly coloured red, orange and yellow in autumn. Bears long stalked clusters of red-purple flowers in spring as the leaves open, followed by brownish-red winged fruits

Cultivation
