RHS Online: Gardening for All

Plant advice

The Society’s advisory staff includes botanists, entomologists, plant pathologists, plant physiologists and soil scientists, who work closely with a team of experienced general hoticultural advisers. Together they respond to the scientific and advisory needs of RHS members.
Information on a wide range of plant-related topics is available by clicking here

Advisers are on hand at the RHS Garden Wisley or at the end of the telephone to help members with their gardening problems. This one-to-one service is an exclusive benefit of RHS membership, and advisers answer in excess of 70,000 gardening queries a year. RHS members have access to some of the best and most up-to-date gardening advice you can find.
More about the RHS Advisory Service

RHS members also have access to the Society's expertise through The Garden, the monthly Journal of the RHS, by visiting the various RHS gardens, which serve as living encyclopaedias and through its programme of lectures and demonstrations.

For those who are not members of the Society, advisers are present at the many RHS flower shows. Detailed information on a wide range of gardening topics are also available below.
