Election of President, Treasurer & Members of Council
The President and Treasurer of the RHS are elected annually by the members of the Society at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The other 15 elected members of Council usually serve for five years with at least three retiring each year and their replacements being elected at the AGM.
Notice of Election 2010 - to be published soon
In the event of there being more candidates than there are vacancies to be filled, an election will be held by postal ballot in the weeks immediately before the Annual General Meeting (which in 2010 will be held on 1 July at RHS Garden Harlow Carr). Voting papers will be issued with The Garden magazine.
